IRC strives to uphold only the best within the family. In order for us to maintain these standards there must be rules. We demand the very best from the contestants on stage, our reigning title holders, even the judge's chair. One must lead by example. So we have set some standards that MUST be followed accordingly.
THE RULES OF THE IRC
1. All contestants MUST BE MALES.
2. All contestants must complete a written application along with their entry fee.
3. Registration (rehearsal) is Mandatory @ 12pm (day of pageant), if you aren't able to attend you can not compete. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!
4. Entry Fee is $200 & NON REFUNDABLE (NO EXCEPTIONS) CASH ONLY! Early registration is $175 via mail (Certified money order) to InterNational Rose City, PO BOX 231, Thomasville, GA 31799. Contact us for pre-application info.
5. Overture begins @ 6:45 pm. Presentation will begin immediately after, If you are not prepared at call for (Presentation) line up points will be deducted. (up to 10max)
6. Contestants will be judged & scored in each category accordingly.
The Categories are as follows:
1.Presentation
2.Talent
3.Sports Wear/Swim Wear
4.Evening Gown/ Formal Wear
5. Question & Response (TOP 5 ONLY)
All tapes/cd's must be queued and labeled.
6. ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL……Scoresheets are available per your request 1 week following the pageant.
7. Only one helper will be allowed in the dressing room area. 10 points will be
deducted by the dressing room facilitator if this rule is broken. However, you are able to swap helpers by simply swapping out your helpers badge that is issued to the contestant.
8. NO excessive glitter, use of water, fire or any other agent which may be harmful or fatal to others will be allowed. This is strictly PROHIBITED.
9. The use of or dispensing of any illegal drugs, marijuana, amphetamines, etc will not be tolerated in the dressing room, bathroom or any where in the building.
10. If any contestant or any contestant affiliates are caught in the act of; stealing or tampering with any other contestants possessions or of the dwelling where the pageant will be held would be disqualified & immediately removed from the location of the pageant without the entry fee or admission being refunded.
These rules are simple to follow but easily can be broken.****** Note to all contestants… Everyone starts out with a perfect score at rehearsal. If all rules are followed accordingly there would be no deductions from your score sheet @ the beginning of the pageant. Welcome and the best of luck.
